Deep Diving Specialty

Requirements:

• Minimum age: 15 years
• Certified Open Water Diver (or equivalent)
• Good health; medical clearance if required

Description:

The SSI Deep Diving Specialty teaches certified divers how to safely plan and conduct deep dives beyond recreational limits. Through 3 progressively deeper training dives, you will gain experience and confidence diving to a maximum depth of 40 meters, while learning advanced gas management, nitrogen narcosis awareness, and emergency procedures.
This course is essential for divers who want to explore deep reefs, walls, and wrecks safely and responsibly.

Note

• Maximum depth: 40 meters
• Dive 1: 18–30 meters
• Dive 2: 24–30 meters
• Dive 3: 30–40 meters
• Learn deep dive planning, gas management, and nitrogen narcosis awareness
• Strongly recommended before deep wreck and wall dives
