Underwater Navigation Diver

Requirements:

• Minimum age: 10 years
• SSI Open Water Diver certification or equivalent
• Good health; medical clearance if required

The SSI Underwater Navigation Specialty teaches certified divers how to navigate safely and efficiently during their dives. You will learn compass navigation, distance estimation, natural navigation techniques, and how to maintain better awareness of your surroundings.

This course helps you become a more confident and independent diver while improving dive planning, buddy communication, and underwater safety.

• Improve dive safety, buddy awareness, and confidence underwater.
• Counts as a required specialty dive for the SSI Advanced Open Water Diver program.
• Training schedule may vary depending on weather and sea conditions.

• Once activated, SSI digital learning materials and training materials are non-refundable and remain permanently assigned to the participant's SSI account.
