The SSI Waves, Tides & Currents Specialty teaches certified divers how different water movements can influence dive planning and safety. You will learn how to assess waves, tides, and currents, choose safer entry and exit points, and apply proper techniques for drift and current diving.

This course is ideal for divers who want greater awareness, control, and confidence when exploring more dynamic underwater environments.
